The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the main group to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, striking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then settled his obligations and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the team enter places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to head to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Seekers and Planners tables.

Fans can anticipate learning which characters will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
